End of Season Invitationals
A note from our Invitational Coordinator, Celisa:
Heatherwood Families,
End of the season invitationals are coming up! There are two invitationals that our swimmers might have the opportunity to participate in. These meets have specific qualifying times that the swimmers have to have gotten at some point in the season. If they get one of these qualifying times in divisionals this weekend, they will still count! Please read the information below, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. (Celisa - 713-542-7117 or [email protected])
You are responsible for paying for any events that you have declared your swimmer for when the entries close. Heatherwood pays the total meet fee based on the declarations. There are no refunds given, so you will need to pay the fees you owe even if something comes up. Heatherwood will cover the cost for any relays, but families are responsible for the individual event fees for their swimmer.
Declarations MUST be in on the Heatherwood site no later than 10pm on Saturday, June 14. Remember, any qualifying times that are achieved at Divisionals will update once the scores are officially in the system. You will pick which events your swimmers will be in.

Both meets are open on the website right now, and you can see if your swimmer qualifies for one or both. If your swimmer has qualified for any event in Ponderosa, they can not swim that individual event OR that stroke in Allstar. For example, Susie has a Ponderosa qualifying time in the 50 freestyle. She could not swim the 50 freestyle in the individual event or in any of the relays at Allstar. She could swim the 50 backstroke in the medley relay, though.
It is possible to do both meets, depending on what events they are trying to do and if the timeline works out in your favor. If you want to get an opinion on doing that, feel free to talk to the coach or myself. The timelines won't be out until after all the entries are in.
Thanks so much, and remember to ask any questions that you have!
Celisa
